The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office are investigating a reported police involved shooting that occurred in North Bergen.
There are few details available about the early morning incident that had police in the 1600 block of Union Turnpike at around 3:30 am.
According to preliminary reports, two people were taken to an area hospital suffering stab injuries, and at least one person suffered a gunshot wound after some violence erupted in or around the 1603 address of the block.
The stabbing victims have been reported as females, but there is no identification of the person that suffered from the shooting. One other person was taken to the hospital for an unknown injury.
The extent of injuries for all of the victims have not been confirmed.
There are no reports of serious injuries to police officers as of 4:40 am
The investigation is active and ongoing.
