The Essex County Prosecutor's Office has released the name of a man that authorities found fatally shot in Newark Friday night.
The South Ward shooting happened in the 600 block of Elizabeth Avenue near Pamona Avenue at around 10:31 pm sending police to the scene where they found **Mr. Stephen "Yello" Vaughn, 30,** suffering gunshot injuries that ultimately claimed his life according to authorities.
The family of told RLS Metro Breaking News that Mr. Vaughn had such an infectious smile and everyone loved him including his four sons and one daughter.
Mr. Vaughn leaves to cherish his mom, brother, and sister.
The investigation into who fatally injured Stephan Vaughn is active, ongoing, and in the hands of detectives from the Essex County Prosecutor's Office.
There were no arrests made at this time.
