A cooperative investigation was initiated by Detectives from the Newton Police Department and the Sussex County Prosecutor's Office in February 2017 after information was received of an alleged sexual assault of a juvenile.
At the conclusion of the investigation, James L. Roff, 32, of Archbald, Pennsylvania was charged with Sexual Assault and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
He was lodged in the Sussex County Jail pending a hearing pursuant to the Criminal Justice Reform Act.
