Jersey City Police are investigating an overnight shooting that occurred in the city.
Reports of shots fired sent police to the vicinity of Bergen Avenue, and Jewett Avenue at around 1 am where arriving officers canvassing the area found several shell casings, but there were no victims found.
A crime scene established had officers collecting evidence to assist in determining a motive.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
