“I commend the work of all law enforcement officers involved in the apprehension of these armed suspects, particularly the two officers who spotted the suspects,” Director Ambrose said.

“Our officers risk their lives daily as evidenced today when they confronted armed suspects who had just shot someone. As a nation, we must do more to keep guns out of the hands of those who want to use them to kill and injure other people. It’s pathetic that our current system is failing us. More needs to be done to stem the availability of illegal guns.”

These are mere accusations lodged against all of the suspects. **Mr. Clyburn, Mr. Baskerville, and the juveniles** charged are all considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
