Authorities in Hudson County are on the search for the suspect responsible for an early morning shooting that had a man rushed to the hospital in Jersey City.
In the second in the second shooting in less than five (5) hours, police were on the scene investigating reports of shots fired that erupted in the 90's block of Bidwell Avenue where arriving officers found a man struck by apparent gunfire at that location.
EMS rushed the victim to Jersey City Medical Center where his injuries were not immediately reported as life-threatening.
A crime scene established in the neighborhood had detectives searching for evidence to support a motive.
Police are also investigating an instance of shots fired that had bullets strike a car in the 60's block of Fremont at around 10 p.m. where there were no injuries reported.
