There is an investigation underway into an armed robbery that occurred last night in Seaside Heights.
Police were called to the 100 block of Boulevard at around 10:30 p.m. to take a report of an armed robbery that happened at that location.
Upon arrival to the scene, officers were approached by a male who reported that he was robbed then assaulted by an unidentified suspect shortly before police arrived at the scene.
The suspect had taken several hundred dollars before he ran from the site according to reports.
The victim's injuries were not reported as life-threatening.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
