Police in Newark are requesting the public’s help in identifying suspects wanted for a burglary that occurred early Saturday morning.
According to Newark Public Safety Director Anthony Ambrose, shortly after 6 a.m., officers responded to Sherwin Williams, located at 536 Raymond Boulevard, on a burglary call.
Director Ambrose said two male suspects entered the store and stole cash and painting equipment.
The first suspect is described as a black male, wearing a black tank top and black pants.
Police described the remaining accomplice as a Hispanic male, with dark hair, dressed in a red shirt with a white emblem on the front, and black shorts.
While police are actively searching for these suspects, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing them from city streets.
Director Ambrose said that the investigation is continuing.
