Two men who are wanted for a scary Tuesday afternoon armed carjacking in Newark's South Ward has police on the search.
According to authorities, the incident occurred at around 4 p.m., in the area of Renner and Schuyler avenues sending several police units to the scene where the victim met them.
The victim reported to officers that shortly before their arrival, two black males sprinted towards the victim (both) with guns drawn and demanded the victim's vehicle.
The suspects were reportedly wearing hoodies with surgical masks on their face when the snatched away the victim's silver 2-door 2016 Honda Civic with a reported NJ license plate number "N52-HPN."
The suspects then sped away in the vehicle.
There were no physical injuries immediately reported.
