EMS rushed a victim suffering gunshot injuries to the hospital after gunfire rang out in at a housing complex in New Brunswick overnight.
Police responded to several 911 calls reporting shots fired in the 30's block of Commercial Avenue at around midnight.
First responding police officers found the victim suffering serious injuries after being shot at that location.
A crime scene established had police officers locate shell casings and other evidence, but there were no suspects found.
The investigation is active and ongoing as authorities attempted to find the motive behind the shooting.
