EMS transported two victims to University Hospital suffering non-life threatening injuries after a vehicle crashed then overturned in the city's Ironbound section this evening.
The crash happened at around 6:30 p.m. near the City Rub Smokehouse Restaurant (great food) located at the intersection of Delaney and Stockton streets where emergency responders rushed to the scene after receiving several 911 calls reporting a two-car crash with injuries.
Crews arrived to find one of the vehicles overturned according to authorities.
The official cause of the crash is under investigation by Newark Police.
