East Orange Police are investigating an armed robbery of a laundromat the occurred in the city Monday evening.
Police were called to 617 Central (H&H Laundromat 2) after at around 8:10 p.m. for calls of an armed robbery in progress.
Upon arrival, police were told that two male suspects stormed into the establishment armed with a gun and ordered the employee to hand over cash.
The men reportedly made several threats to harm the employee before taking about $1000 from the establishment.
The suspects ran from the laundromat and into a vehicle waiting on South Harrison Street.
Authorities located the unoccupied vehicle in Orange according to reports.
There were no physical injuries reported.
