A 36-year-old man wanted for killing a man at a Georgia gas station was arrested in Maplewood, according to authorities.
Joseph Priester, 36, on May 15, shot 39-year-old Genaro Rojas in the head at point blank range outside the Texaco station in Smyrna, Georgia.
However, police in Maplewood learned Priester was at a Burnett Avenue address. Shortly after surveillance was setup in the area, authorities saw Priester get in a vehicle.
Police stopped the vehicle and took Priester into custody without incident.
He is reportedly being held at the Essex County jail until his extradition to Georgia.
