The Boys and Girls Clubs of New Jersey has named a Newark teenage boy 'Youth of the Year'.
Arts High School Television Production Major Donovan Singh is the 2017 Youth of the Year and hails from The Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club in Newark's Ironbound section.
Donovan's club membership has lasted for ten years where he served as president of the Torch Club and the vice-president of the Keystone Club officials said.
He is the captain of the soccer team, a journalist, and loves practicing photography and videography during his spare time.
