Medical Emergency Causes 7 Car Chain Reaction Crash in Linden

Linden police said a 67-year-old Linden woman was transported to an area hospital after an overnight crash that occurred in the city.

According to police, at approximately 3:45 this morning, officers responded to the 600 block of Princeton Road for a report of a crash.

Upon arrival, officers learned that

the driver of a 2001 Chevy Impala,

a 67-year-old woman from Linden, suffered an undisclosed medical emergency.

The woman lost control of the car and collided with three parked vehicles, which set off a chain-reaction crash police said.

A total of seven vehicles were involved in the crash.

The woman was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, police added.

No one else was injured in the crash.
