Newark Police are looking for the suspects who carjacked a vehicle overnight then fired gunshots in the city's South Ward.
The carjacked vehicle is a silver Hyundai Elantra with reported NJ license plate numbers "F23-GLD" according to reports.
Suspects carjacked the vehicle in the area of Irvine Turner Boulevard and Avon Avenue reports said.
Police believe that the suspects are connected to several shootings in the areas of Renner Avenue, Custer Avenue, and another in the 200 block of Lyons Avenue.
There were no physical injuries reported.
