Police are investigating an overnight shooting in Maplewood that left one person suffering a non-life threatening injury.
Police responded to shots fired in the 30's block of of Schaefer Road shortly before 10:30 p.m.
When authorities arrived to the scene, they found the victim reportedly shot to the legs. EMS rushed the victim to the hospital where he was expected to survive.
The suspect was only described as a black male possibly occupying a red vehicle.
Mutual assistance arrived from Union to help in containing the scene and crowd control.
Maplewood Police are heading the investigation.
