A high-speed pursuit of a vehicle refusing to stop for State Police has emergency responders in the southbound lanes near mile marker 44 where the suspect's vehicle crashed, then rolled over at a high rate of speed a short time ago.
Police have the male suspect en custody, but he is suffering serious injuries at this time according to reports. The pursuit reportedly originated near exit 8A.
Traffic in the southbound lanes are shut down but heavy delays in both directions.
A medivac helicopter has been requested to the crash scene.
There are no injuries to police officers at this time.
