A child struck by a vehicle in Harrison over the weekend has police investigating.
According to authorities, a vehicle struck the 4-year-old child in the 400 block of Cleveland Avenue on Saturday after he reportedly ran into the street.
Based on preliminary investigations, the vehicle was traveling at less than 10 mph - while passing a double parked vehicle - when the child ran in between two cars without warning. The child was transported to the hospital suffering minor injuries and required some sutures.
Police issued the driver a summons for operating a vehicle without a license authorities added.
