Police checked the 100 block of Jeliff Avenue for evidence that a stabbing that left one person injured overnight.
According to reports, the victim was transported to an area hospital suffering stab injuries shortly before 1 a.m.
There were non-life threatening injuries reported as of 3:30 a.m. this morning.
The motive for the stabbing is under investigation by Newark Police.
