Police are investigating a reported armed robbery of a pizza delivery person in Newark.
Officers responded to the 500 block of North 9th Street around 1 a.m. to take a report of an armed robbery.
According to preliminary reports, a driver for Papa Johns was approached by a suspect with who brandished a weapon and took an unknonw amount of cash before fleeing the scene.
The delivery person did not suffer any physical injuries.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
