Police in Newark are looking for two suspects who took a car in the city's South Ward early this morning.
The incident was reported in the 300 block of Leslie Street shortly before 6 p.m.
According to preliminary reports, two black male suspects wearing black or dark clothing and white gloves took a 4-door 2010 Mazda from that location.
There are no confirmed reports that the incident is classified as a carjacking at this time.
Police are actively investigating.
UPDATE 6:07 p.m. 4-28-2017 This was a confirmed carjacking with the victim suffering non-fatal injuries.
