These are some images of this morning's 3rd Avenue "Race for the Children" event sponsored by The Friends of the Child Advocacy Center of Union County. The race was held at Warinanco Park in Roselle and attended by more than a hundred people. All entrants who register early received a T-shirt commemorating the race, and male and female first-place, second-place and third-place finishers of the 5K race received VISA gift cards valued at $250, $150, and $100, respectively. All proceeds will benefit the Child Advocacy Center of Union County, New Jersey.
