Police in Newark are investigating an overnight burglary that occurred at a restaurant in the city.
Officers were called to the Subway Restaurant located in the 100 block of Clay Street where they noticed the vandalized establishment.
According to preliminary reports, thieves entered the establishment by smashing a window on the Passaic Street side.
It is not known what the suspect/s took before leaving to scene.
There were no immediate reports of arrests.
