A woman found dead inside a house in Kearny has authorities investigating.
Hudson County Prosecutor's Office detectives were called to the 100 block of Chestnut Street at around 7 p.m. where they focused their attention on a second floor apartment of a three family house where residents in the community said a female was found dead at that location.
The cause or manner of death has not been released at this time.
A request for information has been sent to the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office.
UPDATE 11:03 p.m. This is a domestic incident, stabbing death with one person being questioned.
