Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal announced the arrests of Tony Crowe, 24, of Paterson, and Makia Reed, 24, of Paterson, on narcotic related charges.
The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office received information that Crowe was delivering heroin from Paterson into Bergen County towns.
According to authorities, on Thursday, police conducted an undercover sting that resulted in the arrests of Crowe and Reed who were found in possession of approximately one-thousand bags of heroin, which they intended to distribute to an undercover police officer.
Crowe and Reed were each charged with violating one count of possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance, namely Heroin, in a quantity greater than one-half ounce but less than five ounces, a second degree crime.
Crowe and Reed were remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending a first appearance in the Bergen County Central Judicial Processing Court.
