Carole Hedinger, New Jersey Lottery executive director, announced that there were no Mega Millions game jackpot or second-tier New Jersey prizewinners.
The winning numbers for the Tuesday, March 21 drawing were: 04, 45, 53, 73 and 75. The Gold Mega Ball was 07, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 03.
There were two third-tier prizewinning tickets sold that matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball drawn winning the $5,000 prize.
Those tickets were purchased at the following locations:
* Morris County: Cottage Deli Grocery & Liquors, 23-25 South Passaic Ave., Chatham and
* Morris County: Schooley’s Mountain General, 250 Schooley’s Mountain Rd., Schooley’s Mountain.
If those tickets had been purchased with the Megaplier option, it would have multiplied the prize to $15,000.
In addition, 21 other players matched four of the five white balls drawn making each ticket worth $500. Two of those tickets were purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prize to $1,500 each.
Moreover, 91,421 other New Jersey players took home $154,874 in prizes ranging from $1 to $150, according to Hedinger.
"Congratulations to the lottery winners and to the retailers that sold the winning tickets,” said Hedinger. “For selling the winning tickets, the retailers have become many more Lottery ‘lucky locations’ overnight.”
The next drawing will be held Friday, March 24 at 11:00 pm.
