Police in Irvington are looking into a suspicious incident where several pieces of clothing soaked in blood were found near a pre-school in the Township on Monday.
Irvington Police was called to the 100 block of Augusta Street at around 8 a.m. after residents, who were walking children to school, spotted the clothing laying on the sidewalk and several yards from the school's entrance according to reports.
It is not clear what time the clothing was placed at the location, but there were no reported injuries to staff or students in the school.
The investigation is ongoing.
