A pedestrian struck by a vehicle in Mount Laurel has police investigating.
The incident happened near the Miller's Ale House located on NJ-73 near Fellowship Road at around 3:15 a.m. where emergency responders rushed to the scene after receiving several calls for a pedestrian down at that location.
Rescue crews arrived at the scene to find the victim unconscious and unresponsive lying in the roadway according to authorities.
Police set up a crime scene where they closed several lanes of the highway for the accident investigation.
The extent of the victim's injuries was reported as life-threatening as of 4:30 a.m.
