Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp and Parsippany – Troy Hills Chief of Police Paul Philipps announce an investigation of a fatal fire in Parsippany.
According to authorities, Wednesday at 4:19 a.m., there was a report of a residential fire at 300 Parsippany Road in Parsippany-Troy Hills, resulting in one death.
The investigation has been completed, and the cause is undetermined at this time. However, authorities believed the fire started on the kitchen floor in the area of electrical appliances.
There was no indication of criminal activity.
