Police set up a crime scene in the area of South 8th Street and Pine Street after an early morning shooting left a man injured in the city.
Reports of shots fired sent police to the scene where they located the victim in an alley shot multiple times according to reports.
The victim, who is in his early 30's, was transported to Cooper Medical Center where medical staff treated him for gunshot wounds to the lower extremities reports said.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
There were no reports of arrests.
