Police in Jersey City are investigating a report of a robbery where the victim was allegedly tied to a fence, pistol-whipped, then by three suspects overnight.
According to initial reports, officers responded to the 200 block of Martin Luther King Drive shortly before 5:30 a.m. today for a robbery report.
Upon arrival, the male victim told police that he was tied to a fence and pistol whipped by three black men who robbed him of $20.
The victim described the suspects as three black males who were wearing ski-masks; one was last seen wearing a brown jacket while the other two had black jackets reports said.
The victim was reportedly tied to the fence for approximately an hour and a half before police arrived at the scene.
The incident is currently under investigation by police.
