Clark police announced the arrest of an Elizabeth man who they say may be responsible for a string of car burglaries.
According to police, this past Sunday at approximately 5:10 a.m., Khalid Walker, 43, of Elizabeth was arrested for hindering apprehension and burglary to motor vehicles.
Walker was arrested after a resident on Delia Terrace called and reported that his vehicle had been burglarized.
The ensuing investigation and an area search led police to Walker who was located and arrested on Malvern Drive.
Police added that the same night Walker was arrested motor vehicle burglaries were reported on St. Germain, Delia Terrace, and Malvern Drive.
He was ultimately remanded to the Union County Jail.
