EMS were called to the scene of an armed robbery that occurred at a gas station in Harrison overnight.
According to preliminary reports, reports of an armed robbery in progress sent police to the Speedway Gas Station that's located in the single digit block of Passaic Avenue shortly before 2:30 a.m.
Employees told officers, that shortly before their arrival, a male suspect appeared at the establishment armed with a gun and occupying a vehicle when he demanded cash from an attendant.
The suspect was last seen driving a red vehicle, possibly a Dodge Intrepid, with a partial NJ license plate number "N73" that fled southbound onto Rt. 21 towards Newark after the robbery according to reports.
EMS treated one person at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries reports said.
The incident is under investigation by the Harrison Police Department.
