Locking vehicles and keeping valuables out of sight are simple alternatives to prevent theft.
According to police, there has been an increase number of motor vehicle thefts and burglaries during the month of January during the overnight and early morning hours.
Police advised residents to make sure that you lock your vehicles and do not leave any valuables within sight.
Also do not leave your running vehicles unattended especially during the early morning hours.
Police want to assure the community that we are working diligently to investigate and arrest the individual(s) responsible for these incidents.
