A report of an attack outside Columbia High School has authorities investigating.
According to police, a 16-year-old girl was allegedly attacked by two of her classmates - a 15-year-old boy and 16-year-old girl - on Jan. 18 at the corner of Valley Street and Parker Avenue in Maplewood.
Although it is not clear what prompted the attack, there were allegedly multiple on-lookers that witnessed the two assault the girl.
Both teens have been charged with simple assault, police added.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the Maplewood Police Department's Youth Aid Bureau.
