Police are investigating a report of an armed robbery of a limo driver that occurred last night in Jersey City.
Officers were called tot he 90's block of Fremont Street shortly before 9:30 after receiving a call for an armed robbery in progress report.
Arriving units were told by the driver of the vehicle that a male suspect, who was the passenger in the vehicle, produced a gun and took over $100 before running from the limousine according to reports.
The suspect also took the driver's cell phone reports said.
The driver did not suffer physical injuries.
Jersey City Police is handling the investigation.
