Police are investigating an overnight crash that temporarily closed a street in Union.
The single vehicle crash happened at the intersection of Stuyvesant Avenue and Ostwood Terrace shortly before 9:30 p.m. when a van lost control and slammed into a pole at that location.
Police closed Stuyvesant Avenue so that utility crews could repair a damaged pole according to reports.
The driver of the vehicle reportedly left the scene.
There were no immediate report of injuries.
