There is an active search for an armed robbery suspect that held up a gas station overnight in Toms River.
Police are looking for a 6'1" black male who was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, black pants, black shoes, and blue gloves.
The suspect was wearing a mask and armed with a gun when he demanded cash from an attendant from a gas station in the 300 block of Dover Road shortly before 8:30 p.m.
Witnesses said that the suspect fled the scene Eastbound on Dover Road.
The suspect took several hundred dollars from the attendant.
