Montclair authorities are investigating reports of an armed carjacking that occurred in the city a short time ago.
Police responded to the area of Glenridge Avenue and Forest Street shortly before 7:15 p.m. after receiving reports of an armed carjacking.
The suspect is being described as a black male who was wearing dark clothing when he pointed a weapon at the victim and took a black 2010 Subaru Legacy with a reported NJ license plate number **"H56-FGN".**
The suspect reportedly arrived in a black Jeep according to reports.
There were no physical injuries immediately reported.
