Burlington County Prosecutor Robert D. Bernardi and Willingboro Director of Public Safety Gregory Rucker announced today that one teenager was killed and another was injured during a shooting last night in the first block of Plumtree Lane in Willingboro.
According to authorities, the victims were outside of a residence on Plumtree Lane when they were fired on from across the street at approximately 8 p.m.
Ibn Perry, 16, was pronounced dead at the scene, after he was struck by gunfire outside his home.
The second victim - also a 16-year-old male - was struck in the ankle and taken to Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County in Willingboro for treatment.
A third teen who was also outside was unharmed, authorities added.
No arrests have been made. No weapons were recovered. The motive for the shooting is being investigated.
An autopsy will be performed today by Burlington County Medical Examiner Dr. Ian Hood.
The case is being investigated by detectives from the Willingboro Township Police Department and the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office.
