Authorities are investigating a late night crash that had several people injured on Route 280 in East Orange.
The crash happened near mile marker 11.5 shortly before 11 p.m. where East Orange emergency responders rushed to the scene after receiving reports of a crash with injuries that occurred on the highway.
According to reports, about five people were involved in the crash but there were no life-threatening injuries immediately reported.
Police temporarily closed all westbound lanes for the crash investigation.
The investigation is active and ongoing authorities said.
