A judge in Monmouth County sentenced Arthur Morgan III to life in prison without the possibility of parole on Wednesday morning for tossing his 2-year-old daughter in a creek while she sat strapped in her car seat.
Morgan was convicted last month of killing Tierra Morgan-Glover in an effort to get back at the child's mother for breaking their engagement according to the Prosecutor.
The prosecutor said the body of Morgan-Glover was pulled from the creek that is located in a park in the Jersey Shore with a tire jack weighing it down.
The prosecutor thanked local authorities for their assistance in the investigation and arrest of Morgan.
