Newark Police announced the arrest of a 16-year old male from Newark for a robbery that occurred on Sunday, November 20, 2016.
According to authorities, at approximately 2:50 p.m., police responded to the area of Chapel Street and Raymond Boulevard on a robbery call.
Police said a 49-year old male was approached by the juvenile who was with other individuals and assaulted the victim while demanding cash.
As a result of their investigation, detectives determined the identity of the juvenile.
The Fugitive Apprehension Team arrested him today without incident police said.
He is charged with robbery and conspiracy.
These charges are merely accusations.
The suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
