An early morning armed robbery of a gas station in Wall Township has police on the search for the suspect.
The robbery took place at the Exxon Gas Station on NJ-34 at around midnight where police were called to the scene after receiving reports of an armed robbery in progress at that location.
Arriving units were met by employees who told them that shortly before their arrival an white male suspect approached armed with a gun and demanded cash.
According to reports, employees handed over less than $100 dollars to the man before he ran from the scene.
The suspect is described as a 5'4" white male who is around the age of 40-45-years-old and was last seen wearing a blue jean jacket, black sweatshirt, brown hat, and and eye glasses.
Police believe that the suspect entered a silver SUV that drove him away from the scene.
There were no physical injuries reported.
