A pedestrian struck by a vehicle in Elizabeth early this morning has police investigating.
The incident happened near the intersection of Bayway Circle and Summer Street shortly before 5 a.m. sending emergency responders to the scene where they found the victim injured at that location.
EMS transported the victim to an area hospital suffering serious by non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene according to reports.
