Police are investigating a reported car theft where a thief made off with a vehicle that was left running at a location in Bound Brook early this morning.
The incident was reported in the 7-Eleven parking lot located in the 700 block of Promenade Boulevard at around 3:30 a.m. according to initial reports.
The victim reportedly left the silver Lexus running while they ran into the store for a second reports said.
The vehicle has a reported Nj license plate number "D53-GGD" .
The Bound Brook police department is handling the investigation.
