Police in Trenton are investigating a robbery that had a person beaten in the city overnight.
The incident was reported in the area of East Hanover Street and North Stockton Street shortly before midnight where police requested EMS after locating the victim who was suffering non-life threatening injuries after being assaulted at that location.
Authorities were told by the victim that a male suspects, who was armed with a gun, approached and demanded personal possessions before going on the attack using the weapon.
The suspect also took personal possessions before fleeing the scene reports said.
A search of the area has police coming up empty handed for the suspect.
The investigation is active and on going.
