Newark – Essex County Sheriff Armando Fontoura’s Crime Stoppers Program is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the murder of Eric “Uggie’’ Bowens, 44, of Newark.
Authorities said Bowens was found in the 200 block of Bergen Street in Newark on Monday, Nov. 7 suffering from a gunshot wound at approximately 10:57 p.m.
He was pronounced dead at 11:15 p.m.
