Police are investigating a Monday night shooting that left a 25-year-old man critically injured.
According to police, officers responded to the corner of Rosemont and Hoffman avenues sometime before 9 p.m. for a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival, police found evidence of a shooting. A short time later, police were advised that a victim suffering from two gunshot wounds to his abdomen arrived at Capital Health Regional Medical Center.
The victim remains critical but in stable condition, police said.
The shooting remain under investigation.
